T minus 12 days and counting!!

Well here is a snapshot of our 'project'!! Kitchen - trashed, Master bed and bath - trashed, and Ivy taking over on the outside! Lets hope by the time we get the keys in 12 days we can get some of these wheels in motion and get our plan in place to fix this baby up! - tomorrow is meeting with the window and door people, the radon man, the asbesto and lead paing guy and then home for a bottle of wine to help with reading all of their nasty reports on how they want to spend our money!! We've had the inspections - not so great - couldn't get the water turned on as the pipes were leaking, which meant we couldn't check out the water heater or any of the bathrooms or plumbing fixtures, so we're fingers crossed on all of that, but we did get electricity flowing again, the lights and the heating works which really was a bonus at that point!! On an up note the whole of the upstairs is refinished believe it or not the slate roof looks to be in great shape, the septic system is new and the wood floors in the majority of the downstairs is in good nick. I have the budget planned although I'm presuming we'll blow through it pretty quickly! and now we need you all to cross your finger and toes and hope that we can keep our sanity throughout this whole ordeal!!
